Privacy Policy

GR Trading collects information submitted through inquiry, consultation, and audit forms so we can respond to Shopify project requests. This may include name, email, website URL, Shopify plan, business problem, app list, timeline, optional budget information, and preferred communication channel.

We use this information to review requirements, reply to inquiries, schedule consultations, prepare proposals, and provide agreed Shopify development services. We do not sell personal information.

Form submissions may be stored in website records and shared internally with team members or contractors who need the details to evaluate or deliver the requested work. Project information is treated as confidential, and store access should be provided through scoped Shopify collaborator permissions.

Product Importer extension

1-Click Product Importer & CSV Export reads public product data from the current supported ecommerce page where available. This can include product title, product URL, price, images, vendor or brand, description, product type or category, and variant or option data when public product JSON is available.

The extension does not need marketplace account passwords. Users should not share passwords, browser cookies, Shopify admin tokens, or private customer data with support.

Logged-in workflows use the Product Importer backend over HTTPS. Auth is handled through the Product Importer portal. Tokens are stored using Chrome extension storage APIs and cleared on logout or expiry.

Extension usage analytics may include popup opens, login opens, selected store count, source platform, product-link counts, CSV export counts, and import success or failure counts. Analytics should not include product titles, email addresses, passwords, form values, or full product URLs.

GRT StackLens Performance extension

GRT StackLens Performance is a no-login Chrome extension for inspecting public Shopify storefront signals. It does not import products, write to the viewed Shopify store, or access Shopify admin data.

Page permissions and local scans

Shopify stores can run on custom domains, not only myshopify.com. Automatic detection needs permission to run on normal web pages. On pages that do not look like Shopify, the extension runs a quick local check and stops.

Automatic page-load scans update the popup and toolbar badge locally. The extension is not intended to read passwords, form values, checkout data, cart data, cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, or auth tokens.

Events and data sent

Backend events may be sent for install, popup open, Rescan, and CTA click. Events can include install id, extension version, theme classification, app count, page load time, CTA location and content, and a SHA-256 hash of the hostname. Full URLs, paths, query strings, cookies, passwords, form values, cart data, and checkout data are not sent.

Clicking Rescan on a Shopify store may send detected app names, categories, status, confidence, and best-effort plan inference to power internal app-usage reports. Store-level app records are retained for a limited period based on the service retention setting.

Hashed hostnames should still be treated as potentially identifiable store data because known domains can be dictionary matched.

Affiliate and recommendation disclosures

Recommended app links and the Start Shopify button may be affiliate links. Affiliate links may earn the operator a commission at no extra cost to the user. Recommended Apps must be marked as ads where shown.
